Requirements of an SEND Teacher: · SEND qualifications or experience · To work and support students with an EHCP · To observe, assess and support students in their personal and educational development · To work alongside Management, SENCO’s and other faculty to help students overcome barriers to personal development and learning · To be prepared to offer advice to parents and work with them to support their child.
